Cornersmith Beehive Farmhouse Ale
Part of our Farmhouse range where we used Cornersmith honey to help the fermentation process.
Cornersmith café in Marrickville has kindly given us some honey from their rooftop beehive. So we have used the honey to help ferment this Belgian style farmhouse ale. It rings true from the time when you made beer in the farmhouse with what you had available, and was the source of replenishment for the farmhands. The help from the honey and yeast is what really gives this beer a hint of pepper, white wine, and dryness on the palate. The Cascade and Amarillo dry hop give it big fruity and floral characters on the nose. Enjoy drinking this beer during the spring and summer months!
